Yesterday I was not fit for human interaction. I was crying at everything and very easily irritated - just plain not fun to be around. Wheeeee. I was so stressed out I thought I might implode. But I think I've got it all worked out now. Between working at the museum and the tax office, and visiting my boyfriend who's getting deployed to Iraq in a few weeks, it's going to be a really, really busy couple of weeks.

On the good side, my blanket is now at the Scarf Stage, and I made Toll House pan cookies which turned out really well. I also finished reading Desolation Road, which was, um... interesting. I really WANTED to like it, because Bryon thinks it's so great, but it's just the weirdest book. I will give it another chance someday. Now that I know what to expect I might enjoy it more. So anyway... now I'm on to Prentice Alvin, which is the third Alvin Maker book by Orson Scott Card. They aren't my favorite books of all time or anything, but I can't put them down! They can really screw up your view of American history too... makes me want to go read up on what REALLY happened with Tecumseh and the Prophet. Just to get it straight.

*sob* Poor Faramir! I'm sorry, even the added backstory in the special edition does not do him the appropriate justice. I <3 Faramir... and watching these movies again makes me want to read the books... again.

...why does Aragorn appear to be riding around on Brego when he apparently told Eowyn to let him go free in one of the Scenes We've Never Seen Before? Maybe they DID let him go and he came and found Aragorn after the silly falling-off-the-cliff thing. Whee, time for the battle at Helm's Deep. Love the elven archers, although I could do without Eowyn making googly eyes at Aragorn all the time. Give up! Marry Faramir! Because I say so!

First day of work at the tax office. It went well. I'm only going to work there about 5 days total anyway.

Yaaaaaaaay, I will hopefully get to see my Bryon tomorrow!

Jeez, this "MyDoom" virus is really running rampant. I opened my email this morning and there were approximately 70 messages with subject lines of "test" or "hi" or "mail failure," etc., all of which had the message about "This file cannot be read, converting to binary" etc.... Amazing. But I am smarter than the virus! Mwahaha!

Had a really entertaining dream last night. I was going to high school, and Eddie Izzard was in my class (dressed just like in his Dressed to Kill show). We hung out. It was highly amusing.

Today is the second snow day in a row for me. :D
