Wheeeee.

Day off tomorrow. But D went to the fabric store ALONNNNE. Without me. :< Ha, oh well, I need fabric like a hole in the head, and she can always go.... again. DUN dun dunnnnn...........

Watched a cute movie on TV tonight... Celeste in the City. Ethan Embry was in it - yaaaaay! So adorable. The girl who played the lead used to be on "Roswell," apparently. She looks a LOT like Scarlet Johannsen. In fact, this film was full of people who looked like someone else; the Lauren chick looked like Jennifer Garner, and the boss guy looked a LOT like my friend Steve from Brockport. Heh.

It has been WAYYYYYYYYY too long since I've heard from Bryon. *pout* I know he's busy, but I don't WANT him to be busy, because then I have to think about what he's busy doing, and I don't want to do that. @(*$&!(#&$(#.

I really should go to bed. I do need the sleep, even though I don't have to be up early tomorrow. It IS Father's Day after all.

I updated the Finished Objects gallery (see link button in the sidebar). I also did a wee bit of tweaking in the layout. I'm hoping I can start posting regularly again - but I just get so burned-out from work...

Finally, a decent post.

Ok, some piccies. The craziness:

...and thank you to my Bryon-bear for modeling:

D came over today, and we watched Fruits Basket and made onigiri!! They were delicious. I really want to get the other volumes... but really, I have come to the conclusion that I like the manga better than the anime. It's a decent read instead of just being pure fluff. I can't wait for volume 4 to come out.

Yay, a real post! My next knitting project, by the way, is a pair of socks using a pattern from About.com. (see the link in the Projects section if you're interested) Right now I'm watching The Others with my brother, and with D via IM. Wheeee.

EET EEZ FEENEESHED.

I have finished the baby sweater. The first knitting project I ever cast on is now complete. I am very excited.

Ok, so admittedly I took a couple of detours and knit a scarf and a purse in the midst of this project... but it's done, it's the right size, and it's actually sitting there, complete, and the kid hasn't even turned 1 yet! Woohooooo!!!!!!! Knowing my procrastination skills, I think that's really the most amazing part.

I really think it turned out nicely. I'll post pictures when I get a chance - but seeing as it's 1 in the morning and I have to work at 10 tomorrow (and therefore leave at 9), it's time for me to go to bed.
