Rio is a first-year student who's very shy and quiet, with two long pigtails that, perhaps, make her look all the younger. She has an early-morning paper route - in fact, we first meet her when she is pestered by a dog while on her route, right outside Hiroyuki's window.

Rio is a sweet girl who reads a large amount of shoujo manga; she constantly compares what happens to her to that genre. ^_^ She's just a bit clumsy, and not a big fan of dogs - which sometimes complicates her paper route.

Rio has a huge heart - she works hard at her job in order to be able to buy her little brother an especially nice birthday present. While she's very young and very shy, I know that someday the shoujo manga prince of her dreams will come and sweep her off her feet! ^_^
