Honestly, I wasn't drawn to Shiho at first. She's brash and abrasive, and always needs to be the center of attention. But the more I got to know her through the series (especially Episode 12!), the more I realized that inside, she's a wonderful friend and a sensitive person. Shiho met Akari, Hiroyuki, and Masashi in junior high. She was working on a project with Akari, and they soon became close friends.

Shiho is *the* source of information if you want to know what's going on at school. Her Information Network comes in handy, since Akari and Hiro are really rather oblivious to the latest crises. ^_^; Her outgoing nature keeps everyone on their toes and entertained. Shiho leads a busy life outside of school, shopping, playing arcade games, and, of course, wowing everyone with her stunning (?) talents as Karaoke Queen.

The bottom line: Shiho's a loyal friend with a heart of gold, no matter how obnoxious she may be on the outside. ^_^ And besides, it's never boring with her around.
